The sponge is made of polyether foam, which makes it comfortable to hold in your hand. The scouring material is made of fine to coarse polyamide and polyester fibres.

The binder is hard and tough, e.g., resin and polyacrylate.

Abrasives: quartz, corundum or silicon carbide. On the scouring material, each fibre has a layer of quartz and resin, which guarantees an outstanding cleaning result throughout its lifespan.
