At Fnugfri, you'll find a wide selection of brushes, dusters, and dusting brushes for all your cleaning tasks. We only sell supplies from well-known suppliers, so you can be absolutely sure of top quality.
The selection of dusting brushes comes in many different forms. Our regular dusters are available with microfibres, ostrich feathers, wool, or synthetic bristles, in several different shapes, and either without or with a telescopic pole. No matter which duster you choose, you can be sure that they effectively attract dust and are also easy and simple to clean.
However, a traditional dusting brush is not effective enough when you need to get into small nooks and crannies. Our inventory mops are well-suited for dusting tight and hard-to-reach places, such as shelves, lamps, pipes, etc. Alternatively, in addition to the inventory mops, you'll find several different practical radiator brushes in the selection, also specially designed to clean indoor fixtures and other hard-to-reach areas.
First and foremost, dusting should be a weekly ritual! We recommend dusting at least once a week to maintain cleanliness rather than spending a lot of time deep cleaning. It's also better for you, your furniture, and plants if the dust level is kept to a minimum. Choose a weekday so you're always sure it gets done. Otherwise, it accumulates into dust bunnies under the bed or shelves, and that's not exactly what you want in a clean and styled home!
The next tip, which many probably don't think about, is to dust from top to bottom. If you start by vacuuming, then dusting shelves, and then walls and lamps, you'll just end up spreading the dust around instead of removing it. Use a dusting brush or a damp cloth to dust ceiling lamps. Then use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to dust the walls, and then you tackle furniture, plants, and finally the floor. This way, you remove as much dust as possible!
Do you remember the textiles in your home? Many make the mistake of forgetting all about textiles – duvets, pillows, sofas, and carpets collect everything that dust entails (we'll avoid mentioning the long list of less pleasant things that dust actually is). Use the brush head of your vacuum cleaner for your fabric sofa and carpet, and vacuum thoroughly in crevices and cracks. Pillows and duvets should be beaten and hung outside to air out a bit.
If you have any plants in your home with broad leaves, they also collect dust. If there's a layer of dust on the leaves, it can actually mean that they have difficulty absorbing the sunlight they need! So don't make the mistake of forgetting to give your plants a loving hand when you dust. If you only spray the leaves with water, they actually collect dust even more easily, so you should carefully wipe the leaves with a cloth.
