Sterling Soda is a cleaning agent with countless uses. Soda can be used, among other things, for softening hard water and for cleaning, for example, tiles, refrigerators, toilets, and sinks. Soda can also be used for dishwashing, boil washing, drain cleaning, etc.
Soda can also be used for cleaning crystal, plastic, and glass wine decanters, and can remove deposits in electric kettles and thermoses, and is also often used in connection with cleaning bottles and equipment for beer brewing. Glass that has become dull and discolored will become shiny again by washing them in a soda mixture.
Sterling Soda is concentrated, economical to use, and does not contain bleach, enzymes, or phosphates.
Water softening: Hard water is dissolved by adding ¼ dl of Soda to 10 liters of lukewarm water. The water is softened after 10 min. In cold water, it takes approx. 24 hours. Be aware that the mixture is strongly alkaline.
Cleaning: Use softened water for cleaning, e.g., refrigerators, tiles, toilets, and sinks. Burned-on food residues on pots and pans are cleaned by boiling 1 dl of Soda per 1 liter of water. Not for use on aluminum.
Laundry: White clothes that can withstand boil washing will become cleaner if soaked for a couple of hours before washing (dosing as for softening). When washing with soap flakes, the water can first be softened with Soda. Wool and silk do not tolerate water softened with Soda.
Dishwashing: Add a couple of spoonfuls of Soda to the dishwashing water to remove grease stains on, for example, glass.
Measurement ratio: ½ dl Soda = approx. 45 g = approx. 3 tablespoons.
Safety cap: Press and turn simultaneously.
NOTE! Soda must not be used on aluminum and zinc.
